W. Greaves & Sons SheafWorks "American Razor". This 7/8" beauty has a decorative double scalloped spine, and a very deep hand etched eagle. Original horn scales with a mother of pearl inlay. This was simply cleaned up and honed. It has a very comfortable and keen edge.

A pair of William Greaves & Sons 6/8” near wedges. The double coffin storage box is super cool. Both have Sheaf-works horn scales with stamped nameplates. All original collars and pins. Great shavers.

Sheffield chisels with new bevels

An unrestored Wade & Butcher near wedge. This 15/16” blade is extremely dense and heavy and still wears the original scales. It glides through facial hair like butter. Truly an amazing artifact. The GR stamp dates it to the reign of King George III, between 1760 through 1820.

A very rare Marsden 6/8” cast steel stubtail restored by Joe Edson. Black horn period correct “straight” scales in black horn.

My first real straight razor. An amazing Wade & Butcher that was reground hollow beat back in the day. Hollow grinding was a common service done in the late 1800’s. It was to provide easier sharpening for users. I handmade the black locust scales by hand and used copper hardware for a vintage look.

Amazing blade by legendary knife maker Joe Edson. Blade is Damascus with copper lined accents. Measures 15/16” at its widest point. Spanish point with a hollow grind. Pine cone resin scales!

Tillotson & Company 7/8" Dreadnaught toe. Marked "Columbia Place, Sheffield". Retored to perfection by Karl Johnson with new honey horn scales.

A huge Wade & Butcher 2 1/2" chisel with a brand new 25 degree primary bevel. Look at this fresh steel!

William Greaves & Sons 13/16'' faux frameback grind with original scales and hardware

An amazing William Greaves &Sons brace and bit made from lignum vitae, with brass decorations. Made at Sheafworks before 1850 in Sheffield, England.

William Greaves and Sons 8/8" wedge. Very heave near wedge blade that shaves with presence. Replacement black horn scales with large period correct collars.

Massive Joseph Rodgers & Sons 15/16" near wedge, with a decorative cut spine and a "Dreadnaught" toe. Honey horn scales.
