Williams Greaves & Sons stubtail

by @milarsky ·

William Greaves & Sons 6/8” stubtail near wedge. Marked “Cast Steel Warranted”. New honey horn replica scales. Original collars. One of my favorite shavers. The blade is quite long for its era. Greaves closed Sheafworks around 1850

Greaves "American"

W. Greaves & Sons SheafWorks "American Razor". This 7/8" beauty has a decorative double scalloped spine, and a very deep hand etched eagle. Original horn scales with a mother of pearl inlay. This was simply cleaned up and honed. It has a very comfortable and keen edge.

Greaves & Sons Duo

A pair of William Greaves & Sons 6/8” near wedges. The double coffin storage box is super cool. Both have Sheaf-works horn scales with stamped nameplates. All original collars and pins. Great shavers.
